Right Side Performance of Burlington, NC is pleased to announce their new single seat and two seat "Long Haul" Endurance Racing and Ultra 4 chassis.
The rock sports racing scene has changed tremendously over the past few years and we've been right in the middle of it. These two chassis designs are the result of our observations over these years. We believe they have what it takes to perform well and, over all, win the race.
Some quick features of both the Single and the Double Long Haul rides:
-Plenty of Room for You - Gone are the days where sharing elbow room is acceptable. The Long Haul Double is standard with a 54" wide shoulder bar and the Single sits nicely with a 50" width. Seating position is relaxed and foot room is more than ample. We can go wider if you're a big boy though.
-Plenty of Room for Your Junk - It's nice to have spares. It's even nicer to have them when you need them. While you'll have to be the judge of where to draw the line on what you pack, we think we've offered you plenty of space to put it all.
-Safe Headroom - Both chassis come with standard with headroom for a 6'-ish person to pass tech plus some. No problem to add a few extra inches either.
-Go Fast Suspension Travel Numbers - The Long Haul Double has the capability to see 18" of travel in the front and 22" of travel int the rear. Bump/droop numbers are in the range of 60/40 front and 70/30 in the rear.
The Long Haul Single rides with a capability of 14" of front travel sitting at 50/50 bump/droop and 18" or rear travel sitting at 60/40. You could adjust either way you'd like. These are just the extents.
-Minimal Sheet Metal - When I set out to build I didn't want a brand association and I wanted sexy tube lines. I hope you'll agree we got there. There's no spending a grand on a front clip just to crack it in half if when you attempt to drive out of a roll. I've also seen body parts take out wiring and fluid lines when they come apart. Even the most basic hood cut outs (flat sheet) still look good.
-Multi-Season Chassis - These chassis wont be used up after one season of hard racing. They're built with .188 sub frames, .188 B Pillars, .120 wall for the structure and .090 filler DOM tubing. 2" and 1.75" diameters available.
-Drive Train Options - We designed them both around a LSx, 4L80e, and an Atlas (Stak 3 speed will fit as well) so any of the common drive combos will work.
-Drive Line - The front and rear shafts are all capable of being one piece shafts. No worrying about jack shaft vibes or an extra joint to fail.
-Fuel Capacity - Both single and double are capable of carrying the common size (read: affordable), Ultra 4 tech approved, 32 gallon fuel cell. That's race winning fuel capacity there.
-Axle Widths - I personally like a narrower car. The one in the shop now is on full widths. Axle widths as narrow as 64" WMS to as wide as you please will work.
-Shock Options - Both the Double and Single have room for a coil-over and a bypass at each corner.
Alright enough. To the pics...
