What have you done to your rig today?

As much time as I spend in the tow rig.....I damn sure need to invest in a head unit and some good speakers (satellite radio or Pandora....something....FU New Mexico and your lack of music selection!)

It's not even all installed and hooked up yet (front door speakers are hanging, no door panels, and the amp and sub aren't hooked up yet) and it's already like a different truck. I've been saying I was gonna do something to it since I bought it 7 years ago. Amp on the driver door speaker died and at least one other speaker was blown so it was time to do something about it. Now I'm wishing I'd done it way sooner.

I've been working on a front axle for my Duramax. Just redrilled the hub bearings to 8x6.5 and turned down the shoulder where the wheel centers on the hub. Just gotta drill the rotors and then order the ball joints, u joints, seals, etc to put the rest of it back together. My SAS kit should ship out tomorrow :D

Finally got my rear upper control arms replaced.

What's the reason for holding onto the rear sway bar? I thought the flex would kill/mangle that thing...

Helps keep the rear stable. I've heard of a few breaking but that's only online.

I've been wheeling exclusively online for about 7 years and haven't broken mine, so you should be good to go.

Torsion bar crossmember is out. Hard to find a few bolts under 40+ years of Lexington SC sand mixed with motor oil, but I will say that they were well preserved and easy to take out once they were discovered :p

Haven't heard that term in awhile. Always thought it would be neat to look into torsion bar technology for a off-road swaybar that could be adjusted for any amount of stuffing desired without having to disconnect- being good enough for on road manners

Put a few more scratches on it, another dent here and there. Gave it a good oil change and checked under the hood, the undercarriage, and I've yet to spot one single fawk.... Nope, none to be had.

Added front disconnects. Used Rubicon Express RE1187 Gen2 Axle Bullets, Had to grind down and redrill the passenger side to fit with the steering stabilizer mount. Had to test on a jack, I live in the Sand Hill we ain't got not rocks ...lol

The above is the passenger's side that I ground down and redrilled.

ORS fuel and PS lines showed up today. Installed the PS line. Great quality and was shipped with isolators for the soft line. Nobody makes the hard line anymore (it's a 94 Toyota).

Going to get some heat shield and stuff to isolate the soft fuel line (no longer available either). I considered making my own hard fuel line but the double inverted flare bs on a fuel line next to a header with my wife driving...

Numbered and engine is getting built this week. Hoping to be able to race at Dublin on the 8th

After only putting 100 miles on it in the last 5 years, and none in the last 2.5 years...some ether persuasion and a jump...the 77 made her way out of storage to the new house. She is definitely in need of a tune up, but all in all, handled the 2.4 mile trek just fine...

That's like a centerfold teaser shot.......

Found out that my F150 is getting another transmission next week. It's been acting up for a few weeks so took it back to the shop that installed the Jasper reman tranny a year and a half and 5200 miles ago and they verified it's screwed. Hope the next one lasts longer than the last one.
