looking to go to Uwharrie Labor day weekend, will be the first time going in 8-10 years. planning on a group with maybe 3-5 sxs/atvs. Whats the best place to camp possably with camper or cabins. any I know you could camp on the trails, but looking for a little more comfort A/c this go around

I like the Badin Lake campground myself, but I’m pretty sure you’d be on a generator. No power hookups. Pretty cheap and as close as you can get to trail heads.

You probably know, but just in case, you can’t ride ATVs and SXSs on the gravel roads. If you want to camp in an area where you can ride to and from camp, you’ll need to go into Art Lilly campground. You can ride the roads in that area and be connected to the trails. You won’t have power hookups or anything there. And it’s a long bumpy haul in. I think Arrowhead is closed right now for service, could be wrong.
