Would like to find a small suv for the farm now that parents are getting older and retired and when they are all down at the farm working, the four-wheeler just isn't big enough for everyone. Thinking like an all wheel drive CR-V or geo tracker (without the expensive price tag) the lighter the better. Body and paint not a concern but preferably something dependable because I don't need something else to work on all the time. No title is not a problem as this would be a dedicated field/ farm vehicle and thinking SUV so they could leave normal fence repair supplies and tools in the back. Prefer 4 door but not a must have. Really needs to be 4wd or AWD.

Anyone have a title loan they don't want to pay back? 🤣

Kei truck ≠ cheap, let alone "super cheap"

Ideally I'd like to gamble on this being something they'd use in like the $1000-$1500 range tops depending on what it was. A small AWD crv or other SUV may be a solution that not many people think about for a farm vehicle but in my head sounds practical. They don't know I'm looking so hoping to just find something, screw some road signs up under it for skid plates and drop it off down there and see how it works out. If it doesn't work out for them or they don't like it, I'm not out much and could maybe get some money back out of it.

I picked up a 97 4wd 4runner for $500 that we dubbed the farmrunner. It's been a welcome addition. Can fold the rear seats down and haul a good bit around the farm, or fold them up and take visitors for a guided tour in a climate controlled vehicle.
