Been daily driving my XJ for almost a year now. Starts easy and runs great, but over the summer it developed a stutter that I want to try and sort out. Feels to me like it would when running out of gas. Just a momentary blip and slight jerk when it hits off again. There's no change in the rpm's when it happens, and no check engine light has ever come on. I thought maybe the fuel pump was dying when it first happened, but it feels like it wouldn't hang around for six months if that was the case. Just trying to figure out where to start looking first.
