The weekend around Oct the 25th is literally the only weekend that doesn't work for me, of course it is the leader lol

I know it's way too early in the planning stages, but just thought I'd throw this out there to the masses for future discussion (or now discussion)...

How do people feel about trying to do 1 group trail ride with everyone (or as many people as possible) this year? Doesn't have to be a long ride or a "difficult" trail. I was just thinking it *might* be kinda cool to get everyone out on the trail together.

Maybe a short night ride on Friday, or after Saturday group dinner when the trails are relatively empty. We could do something easy, like Lake View, that also has a couple small areas for anyone so inclined to play around on. The trail ends in the parking lot at Art Lilley. That would be a decent break-off spot for folks that want to head back to camp, or hang out in that parking lot, or keep riding other trails.

This *might* also be a terrible idea and suck huge donkey dong. Let's fight about it...

This is a fantastic idea that is also a terrible idea. I don't think I've ever been on a night ride at Uwharrie where there was not some major breakage that resulted in spending hours on the trail rigging up a fix and limping it back. It's the whole "it's just Uwharrie" mantra times two!

I remember a “pretty” quick night ride a couple years ago (vet ride). Didn’t end up good for the jeep but we all had a pretty good time. @Noel kept worrying about the airbags going off after @Southern_Transplant handed off a warm Coors Banquet and Noel screamed at his shoes for a bit. Good times had by all!!!

GtG is one of my yearly rides now I do everything to hit even if for a day.. The vet ride was a blast last time I attended too. Need to make that one a staple too.
