79 CJ-7 For sale

Sadly, I am seeking a new owner for a ’79 Jeep CJ-7. I have gone through the typical routes, Craigslist, Marketplace and car shows, but can’t see to connect with the devout jeep community.

Runs and drives reliably, in terrific shape and is always garaged. Could you share any information about connecting with fellow jeepers?

If you're looking to get top $$$ for a nice sounding Jeep you're probably better off advertising to enthusiasts. Try some of the Jeep CJ facebook pages, active online forums (are they still a thing??) and some of fancier sites like Hagertys, classic, etc. You need to connect with one passionate person who's been looking for awhile and might fly in and drive out. Or post the price, location, etc here and somebody will probably snap it up. Good luck!

to your point - if you are willing to sell it 3 times but want max $$$ bring a trailer or eBay will probably bring top dollar.

Sorry to jump in but I love a CJ.
BaT is a good place to sell a Classic CJ but the best Facebook groups for very nice CJ's are: Log into Facebook and Log into Facebook
However, the market is 20-30% off its highs from 2 years ago and I'm seeing them remain for sale longer in general. A really solid example will still have a market though.
I would love to see pictures of it or video.
I could feature it on my Instagram/facebook pages if you are interested.
Good luck. Nicer ones are harder and harder to come by.

Thanks for the quick replies and advice - all are quite helpful. I'm not on any social media so I depend on my kids to post to marketplace.
