Snakes yes, spiders nope!
Agreed. Provided a snake isn't in the house or being aggressive, I'll just move them along and let em be. I'll torch the whole county over a spider.

The company fire truck for our LNG plant. We took it today for its yearly service. About the only time it is driven. Always garage kept. The seat looks like it’s hardly ever been sat in.

Found my picture album from Korea while I was looking for the PlayStation for @jeepinmatt . I was replacing a PA horn for the DARTs because they couldn’t climb poles and their bucket truck couldn’t reach that high.

At my first assignment within the battalion we had a Major Minor, Sergeant Slaughter, Captain Rambo, and a newly promoted sergeant with the last name Major, Sergeant Major. Also had a Captain Weiner later in my career.

Edit: Forgot, we also had a Sergeant Commander. The most unique name I ever saw was a guy in my SF unit. His last name was Dollar. No big deal until you saw his full name. Silver Nickel Dollar. No joke.

So I've got a rigid scout and with a line illuminator and a 512mhz sonde for tracking pipe. I've got a nice Garrett metal detector, I've got a deep penetrating pulse induction metal detector. All that to say I've got a lot of money in devices to see what's underground before I dig. I've seen the city guys use these a couple times when nothing else could locate a pipe and I thought they were fucking with me...
Anyway I made some and it creeps me out but these things work 100%. Disbelieve all you want but you're wrong, just try it

Metal picks up a magnetic field bitter than electronics ever will.
That's the basis on which these operate.
