Wide Open Design LJ buggy build

That the power steering cooler behind the fan.
The trans cooler will go under the tub, above the rear driveshaft.
Just need to get it off full bump first.
Question remains. Why put a “cooler” in the flow path of hot air?

Good question.
Thats the airflow path that cooler (for nearly 20 years now) has always been in. I've never had an issue with it there.
Aesthetically, I prefer it there vs in front of the radiator and hose routing.

Roger that. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

This week has been all about planning and ordering plumbing items. Transmission, brakes and fuel.
I went with all new for all 3 systems. Brakes will be typical hardlines from master to the chassis mounts for the UCAs. Then 3AN down the links and to the calipers.
For fuel I went with 3/8 aluminum tube that will go from firewall down the frame to the rear. Whether or not I go through the wheel tubs or up through the floor is yet to be determined. I'll run 4 flex hoses from the hard line to the rail and pump. If I'm careful, I can make them all 4 the same length and carry 1 spare pre-assembled hose.
Similar to how I plumbed the Ranger. But it'll all be 6AN and way more tube than hose.
I'll be back in the shop working on it next week sometime. Got some paying jobs to knock out first.
