I have an 2002 Silverado 2500hd crew cab with a 3" body lift and I am looking to remove it!!! Problem like always......... I bought the truck like this and I have none of the factory stuff. How hard is it to remove the lift? Is there anything else other then the blocks and bumpers? A/C, Rad,etc??

Thanks, Travis

Easy, just remove the bolts, take them to a hardware store and get new bolts that are 3" shorter. The bed is simple, lower the bumper back down, remove the fuel filler extension, then just lower the bed down. Up front, lower the front bumper down, check to see if the kit used steering extensions, possibly a t-case shifter extension if manual case, and if the fan shroud was trimmed or if it used spacers, then just drop it down. Should take about an afternoon with a friend to help.

Nothing is moved with the AC, and the radiator moves up/down with the body, it's just the fan to shroud clearance that you have to look at.

You can probably go to Zone, Performance Accessories, etc and download instructions then just do the reverse. Ideally you could find someone else to swap with and use their stock bolts.

I may possibly still have the directions laying around for the kit we put on my sons '97. But your first reply post covered the bases pretty well
