03 650 rincon wont rev

this thing is kicking my butt it idles fine shifts fine but won't go but about 15mph and in nuetral it wont rev up much ive checked exhaust sprayed in carb while holding throttle still didnt pick up has anyone seen this or know what my problem may be thanks in advance

sounds like choke may be sticking or plug going bad maybe..

Is the in-tank filter and/or the pet cock clogged? That happened to mine...

has good flow of gas going in carb air filter clean 100psi compression have spray carb cleaner in it while trying to rev it would not pick up

my friend has a rincon, and i know his will not rev up until it reaches a certain temp. i would see if there is some kind of temp switch and check it.

cleaning out a gummed up jet fixed my similar problem. While in there, might as well clean both of them out. (Not just the main hole going down, but the little side holes in the jet too.)

so I tore it down because it didn't have enough vaccum and found the intake lobe on camshaft to be almost gone i think this is my culprit

sorry i didnt c your post till now but not to sound like a smart ass could have tld u what was wrong also putting back in time will b a pain hard to c timeing marks on cam when back in motor it will look like u r a tooth off but take your time becouse head gaskets will get expencive any ?'s call frog at 919-499-3017 worked at honda shop for bout 5 yrs so i no what im talking bout

i fixed this a while back it runs great new cam t-chain and tensioner like a new one about time for an oil change i guess i should recheck valve adjustment due to the new cam
