05 Ranger lift ?

Just wanted to ask about torsion bar key lift kits. has anyone ever installed this lift. If so did you like the results, how difficult was it to install. I dont know much about IFS, I gonna purchace this lift for my fathers truck, he drives a lot, OBX to Winston Salem, will this lift hurt tire wear, any feedback i would greatly appreciate.:beer:
 
i have a 00 ranger and all i done was get longer bolts. picked me up to clear 315's but it rode like a bitch!!!

the bolt size is M12 x 1.75 at 3in long threaded all the way. cost me $2.75 from the john deere place.
 
What size tire are you wanting to run?
 
Same tire, just want a little lift. Pops don,t want his truck to look stock, no wheeling, just ridin on the obx. I,ve never heard of a torsion key lift, nor do I know what it is. Im sure i,ll find out soon just wanted a little tech, pointers, its always easyer to learn from others mistakes, that kind of shit, ANYONE ???????
 
You can gain about an inch by cranking the bars up, maybe more with the longer bolts mentioned above. But either way it will ride like crap. The torsion keys are supposed to ride like stock, but i have no experience with them so i can't say for sure.
