Kind of out of place for what it is, but tech none the less.

Even before I lowered it (2"/4"), my 05 silvy has had terrible bump steer, and lots of front end vibrations that all feed back through my steering wheel, and even my gas pedal. I've had 2 different sets of tires on it, kumho 305/50 (before lowering), and now goodyear 275/45.

I've replaced both the inner and outer tie rods, and am most likely taking it to a shop this weekend to get it looked at.

What else can I do? I've got no play either up and down or side to side when I jack my truck up. I'm at a loss.

intermediate steering shafts on silverados/sierras are a common problem. some were under recall i believe but if not you can get a new one and install it yourself.

Yeah my intermediate shaft makes the clunking noise, it needs greased/replaced. I'll get around to that. My springs were not sitting down in the LCA correctly, I just got done correcting those, and my shocks are shot. Just ordered some from summit. Hopefully that'll correct the shimmy if nothing else.
