Trailer brake controller on my 06 F-350 took a dump on me the other day.TBC fault comes up on the dash display and it locks up the trailer brakes.Second time this year.I had it rebuilt and its still under warrenty so it should be as easy as sending it back.I was three hours from home w a loaded trailer and booty fabbed this up in the parts store parking lot.It gave me tail lights but no turn or brake lights and no trailer brakes. Anybody figured out a way around using the factory brake control box??I looked at getting a pigtail and wiring a under dash controller as a back up the last time but couldnt find one.Whats the work around for this?? This is a factory installed brake box and is NLA @ford
