I'm looking at buying one and was looking for some real feedback. I test drove a V6/6 speed 4x4 non-NISMO model, and I like the power and the way it handles.

Has anyone else driven one or seen on in action?

My only complaint is that you can't get the NISMO package on a lesser equipped vehicle. I don't want power windows and all that crap. Plus, the dealership says that they can't get me a basic NISMO model. All they can get for me is models equipped with extra accessories like the cargo tie downs or the upgraded stereo.......STUFF I DON'T WANT!!!

I would love to have one.. plus the VQ in there has been and I assume still is, a pretty amazing motor..

Why would you not want power windows, etc.?

Whats so special about the NISMO edition.. upgraded shocks, and a locker.. its a D44 just get a locker for it if you want that..

Also it does not list the NISMO edition as being able to get the 6-speed.. but it lists it as having Clutch Start/Cancel (manual transmission 4x4 only) standard so I don't know..

The 6 speed is standard on it. I don't want power windows because........I just don't, hehe.

The NISMO edition includes shocks, skidplates, different rims, BFG tires, electric locking rear diff, special two-tone seats, and........

CRAP!

Now that I've really sat down and looked at it, there's really not that much different from an SE model with the exception of the locker and shocks. I can build my own skidplates, and they'd be a helluva lot better. I guess I was just looking for something different.

Aight then, so what about an SE model? Hell, has anyone heard anything about these trucks?

Seriously, why in the hell would you not want power windows? Nevermind you'll catch hell trying to ever sell one without them.. (or you'll have to lose alot of $$)

What, you're wanting less wires to disconnect when you take the doors off? :flipoff2:

Well I wasn't aware that I couldn't get it without power windows until I checked it out at the dealership. The Nissan website doesn't do jack for building a vehicle much less options.

But after learning that and hearing the responses here, the SE model seems to be the way to go.
