Not sure if this is the right board, but I have a new to me stock '06 crew cab silverado. I'd like to get a set of nerf bars/running boards, but I want something functional that protects the side of the truck from debris and won't get beat up like the OEM type running boards. I also don't want to compromise ground clearance below the frame.
I can't seem to find what I like online. I'm thinking black powder coated steal or cast aluminum. I like the style of the board on the new Raptor. I also remember seeing some 2" steel bars with diamond tread step welded in, but can't find it. Maybe it was custom. Any ideas?
