I asked about two of these trucks afew days ago. I have been quoted a used engine price of $1750 from Marsh parts in Siler city. I am thinking of listing both for $5500. I have been told that the front and rear diffs are in demand for truck buildups. The flatbeds are nice, may part them out. Any advice, or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

Need more info. What model's,milage, engines, trans. The 88-92's will have the best axles while the 93 up's will have the best engines/trans.

My buddy just picked up a motor for 1k. Depending on what else is really there and the condition then I would sell them complete for a couple K and be done with them.

IIRc these are CTDs 4x4 with D60 solid axle fronts?

Yes and no,Some of em(88-89 IIRC) had 61 front's and are hard to put anything lower than 3:55's in.Thats why I was askin the year models. If it has 3:07 gears it's a 61 for sure.IMO a Cummins will not bring the money a PSD will. The Cummins usually outlast the trucks they are in.
