i have done a solid axlr swap in a 91 s10 blazer. i put a 10 bolt in the front and a 12 bolt in the rear . i was planning to run mini spools front and rear and was wandering if i use a lite foot and run in mud and moderate rocks what size tire i could run . i would like to run 36 to 38's on it but dont want it to last on the trail . it has a 4.3 L ,700r4 and a np 208 in it . ive done this with all used spare parts and only spent about 100 dollars and want to keep it cheap . if anyone has some almost worn out used tires in this range with a little tread i would like to know also thanks .

I ran this set up under my Jeep for about 6 years. I had ARB's front and rear though. I honestly don't see the front living too long with a spool and that size tire. I was running 35 boggers.
YMMV

I ran a mini spool in a front 10 bolt with 35" swampers . It took quite awhile (couple years) to break an axle. Steering or lack of it was the bigest problem. I left one hub unlocked except when I really needed it. Wow it would really pull then. It was in a suburban so I had plenty o f weight to fully stress it.
