Bought a new log splitter a couple years ago and this was the engine that came on it. Probably has less than 15 hours of run time. Splitter always had non ethanol gas, stabilizer and was stored under a tarp. When I would finish using it, the fuel would be cut off and eventually it would shut off.
It would randomly shut off when new and I dealt with it for as long as I can. The shop I bought it from was going to cover the labor if I bought the parts. Rather than replace the carb I just bought a predator motor so I can split all this Helene firewood.
