We're grateful for our members and vendors, and appreciate you all. I'm way behind in posting this and for that I do apologize. This is the entry thread for the 12 Days of NC4x4 for 2024.
Things are a lot different for many of our friends devasted by Hurricane Helene. It didn't feel right to do anything other than a true giveway and allow each day's winner to pick a Helene or western NC related charity. We've put together a list with the help from people on the ground, but please don't hesitate to nominate. Day 1 will start off with $100 and any funds donated will be allocated to the following days. In order for this to work, we will need donations. The $100 for Day 1 has already been sponsored. If you'd like to donate, please send me a PM.
Starting on Wednesday, December 13, and continuing each day through Christmas Eve, we'll pick one entry from this thread as the day's winner.
The Rules:
1. Post only once in this thread to enter.
2. Include in your one entry post the name of a charity or worthy cause you'd like to promote and support related to the devastation of Hurricane Helene and the rebuilding efforts. As part of this year's drawings, we will do just that. Here’s a list of charities that have been vetted by those in WNC and involved with the rebuilding efforts: Helene/WNC/ETN Charity List
3. You can only win once. If you win on day two, you're out for the remaining days.
4. You must have been a member for at least 30 days to qualify. If you haven't been here for 30 days, you can still qualify by becoming an "orange blaze" or Vendor member.
This thread will stay open and new entries will be included in each night's drawing.
Good luck to everybody and we look forward to seeing you guys and gals continue to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors!
