So I had a drive shaft rebuilt earlier this week. It was just a standard 1310 with spicer joints, that I had made a few years ago. After the rebuild the cv binding at ride height. It's so bad that it will not turn.

Two questions if the replacement cv was not a spicer could that be problem?

Look at the first picture and ask yourself wtf. Why do you have snap ring right there when the yoke should hold the cap in?

It looks like you're trying to bolt this part to the yoke instead the cap like a CV yoke should be bolt up

If you look at this picture its a little better to see the caps are bolted to yoke.

So I don't thinks it's installed wrong.

I think the cv head is weird

I found a older stock one and the castings are defiantly different. The older one has much more mobility then then the new one.

Then pull it apart and bust out the grinder then. Or find a different "H".
