14 bolt Q?

I'm leaning towards a 1350, but the easiest way to check is measure across the yoke between the u-joint "pins" cast into the yoke that locate the u-joint. If you measure 3 and 5/8", its a 1350... if you measure a hair over 4", its a 1410.

I saw on Pirate where Billavista installed a new one from High Angle Driveline. The upside was that they use u-bolts for the U-joint instead of straps. I would think that would be stronger. My .02.

Using the u-bolts vs straps to hold the joint on isn't so much about being stronger. Properly installed straps work just fine.... but.....

It's when the straps or u-bolts break due to being damaged. U-bolts are more easily fixed, straps break and the bolts break off IN the yoke and now your stuck trying to extract them on the trail..

I'm running the yoke from HA for 1410s w/ubolts... I was getting a shaft and was the same price to get either shaft so I chose to upgrade... That said I now see vendors offering 1350 u-bolt yokes now.. Not sure what those cost.. But if i wasn't getting a new shaft i'd have considered that..
