I have a 2001 f150- 5x135 bolt pattern.stock currently. I have a pa body kit i bought in 2005 and a set of 16.5x9.75 aluminum wheels that i've had forever. any way the 33's on them are old. 16.5 tires are hard to find so i was looking at the Goodyear mtr's 37x12.50x16.5 as a low cost alternative. They measure to 35.5.The truck is used mainly for a occasional beach treak or for fishing. no hardcore wheeling,as its a crewcab. My question is should i sell the wheels? i've cleaned them up, polished them. or seeings how i already have them spend $200 for a set of take military take offs and switch them when i want to? keeping my stock set for daily driving?

The only negatives to the Hummer tires is that they are pretty stiff. The MTRs are great however (get D rated not E) and for the cost are hard to beat. I am considering a set myself, the wheels for Toyota seem to be hard to find.

Everything i read about them talks about how hard they are, but after having a set now i love them. For the price its really hard to beat the tire. Have a set on my Jeep and would not hesitate to run them on something else. Know several people with them and we have all been happy.

Bergs military supply in Fayetteville sells tires rims and stuff if the op needs a local source.I have never owned the military mtr's but I have drove them plenty off road if your putting them on a full size truck I dont think sidwall stiffness is gona be an issue.my 2 cents

Do the 37x12.5x16.5 millitary mtr do they truely only measure 35.5 inches is there a difference in height between a 8 inch feep rim vs 10 ive also heard that the 36x12.5x16.5 baja ta only measures 33.5 on a 10 inch deep rim just trying to figure this out thanks
