16 VALVE SWAP

I JUST PUT A 98 16 VALVE IN MY 88.5 SUZUKI SAMMY.POWER IS CRAZY. THIS CONVERSION IS A MUST FOR SAMMY OWNERS.

Yep, many don't realize that two smaller valves on the intake and the exhaust move huge more amounts of air and fuel compared to one larger intake and exhaust valve. That coupled with fuel injection and a free intake and exhaust will really make a engine crank! Something known as efficiency.

Thats my future swap. The 16v is a whole lot cheaper then the 2.0. I would say its the best bang for the buck. The sad thing is that my 1.3 has less than 20k miles on it. I won't have any reason for a while.

Ive had a 16v for years in my K5 and I think its pretty gutless...

i know the stocker is only around 80hp, whats the 16V rated at? since the case is divorced why not just run almost any motor/tranny combo

The 1.3 is 66 hp. I believe that the 16v 1.6 is close to 100 hp. Its a huge difference. The popular swaps are 1.6 8v, 1.6 16v, and 2.0 Suzuki engines. The 1.3 Swift GTI engines will also work but they have limited availability. A 4.3 will fit but its a lot of work. Best bang for the buck is the 16v or GTI engines.

unless you do alot of cutting on the tranny tunnel the sick or tracker transmission wont fit to big

well i was refering to maybe like a mistu 4cyl or Jeep 2.5L... theyd be a lil more work probly, but theyre round 120hp

why load a zuke down with an anchor like a jeep 2.5 ? The zuke engine is all alum. weighs ~200# and as said the 1.6 makes good power vs the stock 1.3L Plus its a simple bolt in with a $50 swap kit..

i know how easy the 1.6 swap is.... I had forgotten though about the 2.5L being so heavy.... I was just wondering if anyone had steered away from the typical 16V swap though, and what results they were getting....
