I have a 1968 VW BAJA bug for sale. I bought this last year when I was wanting a different project. I rebuilt the top end of the motor. Cleaned up the interior and got it almost road ready. Picked up another Toyota project and it’s been sitting since.
This is a cool project that I won’t have time for anytime soon.
1641 cc engine. Hasn’t been started since top end rebuild.
Supposed to have highway gears in the trans
Independent rear suspension
Coilovers front and rear
Wide rear wheels on 5 lug. Front skinnies on 4 lug.
Fiberglass fenders front and rear.
Engine cage and rocker guards
Floor pan is perfect
Empi racing seats, shifter, gas pedal.
The body has some rust. In front of rear wheels has been cut out and comes with appropriate patch panels.
Comes with spare motors, engine stand, trans. Everything I have vw.
