Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum, and had a general question.I have a 1977 Chevy, rebuilt 350,3.73's, and granny 4 speed, that is stock right now. I'm running
33's right now and i'm looking for a used set of 33's or 32 mud tires that i can run till i put a lift on it. i've got 3 dunlop radial rovers and a winston winner, (wonderful City road crews had a hugepot hole that took care of the dunlop and bent a rim) Any help with a used cheap set of tires i would be greatful. Back to my original question, i'm eventually gonna lift the truck 8-10 inches and run hopefully 38.5's-44's, not a real aggressive offroader, but do the usual playin in the mud. Trying not to spend a pile of money, looking for suggestions on gears and lifts.

Look for some 3/4 ton axles, will probably already be 4.10's
that will get you goin. You can upgrade from there. Send a PM
to me, I might have some other stuff you need. Thanks

I'd get a set of CUCV axles (Dana 60 front, 14 BFF rear) they come with 4.56 gears and a rear Detroit locker. That'll get ya some tolerable gears and a locker at a reasonable cost. The only thing you are going to have to change is you are going to have to put new spring perches on the 14BFF to line up with your springs. Well, I'd convert to rear discs too.
