1988 yamaha waverunner

need a little help here. I was running the waverunner and it died. I have no spark at all. Checked the resistance on all components except the CDI because my book does not include it. The only resistance I found off was the 2 green wires to the regulator, supposed to be 30 ohms but have no resistance. That should only effect the charging system. Replaced the coil new, new plugs, but don't want to go spend a bunch of bucks on a CDI if I'm not sure that's it.
Suggestions anybody?
