90 jeep cherokee xj stutter problem

everytime i put the jeep into gear and accelerate and let off gas and push gas again it stutters and want pull. it only has a problem when it is in gear. when at idle it runs fine. please help and if you need more details please let me know. thanks mike.
 
We have had the same problem for years

What doesn't work....coils wires and plugs.
We have not gone into anything else. Problem comes and goes. Some days it runs like a champ other days,like today, it ran like A$$.
 
i have replaced plugs wires rear main seal, cleaned the throttle body out and all air lines,changed oil, and now i am stumped i think it has something to do with my tranny. our something.

did you try replacingyour rotor button and cap, if not that then your wires, if not that then your coil.disregard these if you haven't checked your fuel pump yet. lastly idle air control if you have one.:popcorn:
