I bought this jewel (and another) in July/August of 23 and have been slowly building towards a mild family wheeler that is able to be driven to and from trails and camping spots. My plans have changed and am now looking to move this on to someone willing to take it on across the finish line. Since buying it I have installed the following list of parts….

Marketplace coils and leafs. Battery cable upgrade from Jeepcables.com

From Rusty’s: OEM style drag link, HD tie rod, HD track bar, 4 new shocks and a steering stabilizer, and new axle shaft u-joints.

From Ruffstuff: upper and lower single flex control arms as well as center frame stiffners.

From Amazon/rockauto: calipers/pads for the front, longer brake hoses front and rear, new unit bearings, and a powertrax no-slip for the dana 30.

Winch mount is from dirtbound offroad and I had someone more skilled than me glue it together.

The jeep was originally a 4 cylinder, but I swapped in a 4.3 v6 keeping the ax5 (I know, but as a family rig I was not planning on abusing it). The 4.3 was a fresh rebuild before I got it, and I added Holley sniper fuel injection and hyperspark ignition. The axles have the stock 4.10 gears and the rear 8.25 is welded. I put 4 new pro-comp wheels on and have 6 matching 31x10.50-15 tires. The wheels are a little scuffed up from a trip to GER. The drivers side floor has been patched by me (hack job using the old hood as donor metal), the passenger side still needs to be done. Both front doors are a little beat up, but will include a rotten shell that still has decent doors on it. I’m sure I am forgetting lots of details. $4000 obo. I can’t afford to lose much more. lol.

Some things that I know will need to be addressed. It needs a bigger radiator. I had just put a new aluminum rad in before the engine swap and I was hoping it would work. But on an extended highway drive it will get above 200*. The fuel lines are very close to the drivers side exhaust, I haven’t had any issue but was planning to run AN lines down the trans tunnel. There is no sway bars or bumpstops. The engine mounts are very firm. I used cheap Amazon engine side mounts with poly bushings.
