This truck was my best friend Steve who passed Dec. 17th. I am selling this truck for his widow. It's a '97, Auto, Steve has owned this truck for the last 15-20 years(I'm not sure) It has 240,503.? miles on it. Trans was rebuilt about 5 yrs ago. Truck runs and drives great. It is a long bed, crew cab. Has a roof rack on it, and wood sideboards on the bed(easily removed) Interior is pretty decent esp considering how old it is. As far as I know, the paint is original, except for the drivers door. The door was replaced and painted 4 yrs ago, maybe five, ( remember I am old, so don't quote me on the time frame) This was replaced due to a really old lady(who shouldn't have been driving) side swiped Steve. The drivers fender was barely touched, the door was hit pretty hard, then little to no damage to the drivers rear door and bed. So minimal that Steve didn't bother with having these fixed. Due to this accident, this truck does have a salvage title. I replaced the Power Steering pump last year. That was new to me, Why did they engineer it so as to have to remove the pulley to remove it! Thanks Ford!
The truck has a Heavy built "ranch hand type" front bumper, Modified by my son, for a winch. The winch is a Warn M10K winch, with Synthetic winch line. Slow, but it would pull a house down! The bumper has multiple D-rings(3) points on the front, one which is a receiver hitch. It is also wired for trailer brakes, and has a goose neck hitch also. Both Batteries were replace the last part of 2022. It has a block heater, and has a disconnect battery/winch hook up, up front. For a 27yr old truck, between the interior and exterior, I'd rate this truck very good.
