1999 XJ Brake Booster

I have a 1999 XJ, when I press the brake I hear a SWOOSH sound? is that normal or is there a leak? just not familiar with brake boosters....

do the brakes work fine, or does it feel like there's a leak?

seems ok, it stops and I don't hear any leaks at the booster. The vehicle is new to us and it makes that sound so we were just wondering if that is normal or not.

I don't hear this when I hit the brakes on my 99 cherokee..

So you hear nothing?..so maybe there is a leak then
