Hello.I was refered to this site by a friend here in Morganton,NC.I have a 77 CJ5 that I'm trying to get on the road.I basically need to fix a few wiring problems and install the soft top.As far as the soft top I need some hardware like the
door strikers(?) ...I only have the top and doors with the main bows which are hinged together.Any idea where to get instructions with good pics of hardware needed? Thanks,Daniel

If you have the factory soft top, finding replacement parts or instructions will be almost impossible. If you have a Bestop, you can call or e-mail them and they will fax you a copy of the instruction manual. They did it for me once. BTW, I'm parting out a '76 CJ-5 so if you need any parts, let me know.

Thanks for the reply. The top is a bestop but it has snaps instead of the channels. It's about 95% condition and includes the doors. For 50.00 I'm happy but it looks like I need a lot of hardware and will have to re-locate the snaps on the jeep. Thanks again,Daniel

That would be a Bestop Tigertop. They sent me via fax the instructions for the tigertop when I asked. They also sell the replacement parts direct from the factory.
