Time to thin the herd, got too many "possible" projects, I need to focus on just one or two.
Got a 1988 and 1993 Cherokee to sell, either together or separate. These are located between Hickory and Morganton.
1988 Laredo - 4.0 4x4, automatic, 4 door, ~157,xxx miles, basically all stock $2500/OBO
Clean NC title in my name
0 mile rebuilt 4.0, needs to be hooked up and everything connected.
super clean body, surface rust in floor treated with KBS rust reformer, interior (in great shape) ready to go back in
Basically I bought this last year from a guy who was planning to put it all back together after the engine rebuild but lost interest. Sadly I don't have time to do it myself. Was running/driving before that.
I think most of the parts are all there to put it back together but not 100% sure. Missing radiator but I have a brand new one I can throw in if the price is right. Buyer responsible for verifying what all is included.
1993 Sport - 4.0, 4x4, automatic, 4 door, ~250,xxx miles, stock, running and driving $1500/OBO
Clean NC title in my name
Running and driving, I was driving it regularly until a couple months ago when I took the tag off to put on another XJ.
I was going to make it into a trail rig but don't have the time/money right now.
AC works! even the overhead light comes on and the door buzzer works. Pretty much everything in good working shape except the speedometer needle sometimes spins, sometimes doesn't. Odometer still works so miles are correct.
basically stock jeep, bought it from guy who was going too fast on a gravel road and slid on the driver's side. doors on that side will open and close but roof frame is bent in an inch or two and there's a gap there.
got some rust in the rockers, behind driver's rear wheel is pretty bad, some floor rust but overall plenty solid to beat around in the woods.
battery a few years old, last time I went out to start it I had to throw the charger on there.
All prices negotiable, will make a better deal if you take both of them. May also consider lower prices if I keep some parts, there are a few things I could use off both of them.
Not really interested in trades other than maybe old VWs or diesel Mercedes. Possibly a 2 car carport/metal building, or concrete work.
Feel free to PM with questions, I have more pics, or if you want to come take a look.
