There was a long thread in General Chit Chat a while back about enterprise laptops, so I thought these might be of interest to someone.
I work in corporate IT and usually by the time we replace laptops there isn't any residual value, but Thinkpads seem to hold their value better than others. We used Thinkpads for a while and these were recently replaced. One is over 5 years old, the other is almost 5 years old.
It could be a good shop computer with the dock. Specs should be in the pictures.
$250 cash for each one.
If you buy a laptop I'll include as many docking stations as you want, but I only have 10. I'll let the first person have 5 if they want, and if the second person wants less than 5, I'll let the original buyer have the remainder, if they want them
These docking stations are Lenovo ThinkPad Ultra, the last mechanical dock that I'm aware of and possibly the best ever made. They don't make them like they used to.... From what I can tell you can only buy Thunderbolt (USB-C) docks now, and while compatible with all vendors, nowhere near as reliable as the old mechanical docks.
I'm not on here a lot, I'll respond as quick as I can. First come first serve. I work out of West Jefferson, NC and can meet there most any day during the week. I'm in Boone often and can meet there if scheduled.
