looking to get a 6" lift for hunting and fishing, no rock climbing or mudd pits. what is the best for the 2000 C1500?

Thanks

I've put several of those size lifts on over the years. I would pick RCD or BDS. I haven't bought or installed a RCD in a while but they made good fitting good looking (finish) lifts. They fit and the dropped spindles were good quality. Most recently I've put on BDS units, their quality has improved tremendously in the past few years. The finish and quality is on par with RCD but the warrantee they offer is hands down the best. No questions asked as long as you on the truck they replace anything in the kit that becomes defective structurally for any reason. With both don't plan on going back stock because vital frame and differential components get shaved. BDS has a wide track and standard track spindle along with rear full spring upgrade and a few other options. The spindles on these kits generally require a specific offset wheel, atleast not stock offset.

Chevy Lift

Thanks Warriorwelding! This lift is not for me, I still have my F150 SAS. I'm doing the lift for a friend and we don't know which one to use, what about the Rough Country Lifts?

Thanks

This is the last one I did. Its the BDS 6 inch with 37's

The rough country lifts are a decent bang for your buck. The over all finish isn't as nice as the RCD alittle below the BDS but definately not junk. BDS has the only warranty like theirs in the lift buisness that I know about.

Sweet, for a Chevy! haha

Ok, thanks for the information.
