The story was just that, a story. Sorry if it rubbed you the wrong way; I didn't say it to make enemies, just sharing an experience...I also said I hoped it wasn't taken as adding fuel to a fire. It doesn't matter to me what type of tow rig you have and if its gas, diesel, steam or alien transportation; if you have the ability to do that so you can ensure you make it home, awesome!
I'm not sure what happened to him, probably traffic or he didn't take the O/D off but considering he rolls coal after every club meeting we have & I honestly don't care I'd say I don't have street-racer bullshit on my mind. I just like to keep in my power band while climbing. If that means I fall behind or pull ahead, so be it.
Mine's not lifted (looks stock) & the only power-adders I have are typical bolt-ons so I don't really roll coal. I don't care what people tow with or even if they drive their rigs to the park/woods (I've been there myself), as long as you're having fun & not a asshat, I'll wheel with ya. Personally, as long as I can afford to keep a tow rig & justify it, I'll never drive my rig to another park again.
