2004 Suburban Oil Change Indicator

How do you reset the oil change indicator that tells you oil change is at a certain percent?

If the vehicle is not equipped with the control buttons in the steering wheel, (you would just hold the ENTER button for a few seconds on the oil life meter screen if it did) you just switch the key on, but don't crank it, press the gas pedal in about 5 times quickly. The oil life should flash on, then crank it up and it will reset itself.
