2005 Ford Ranger

Hey guys, I just purchased a 2005 Ford Ranger a couple days ago. I know a little about these trucks but I'm mainly posting this to learn some common issues and/or maintenance related items that I need to be aware of. I know I'll need to change oil, check all fluids, etc. I've also heard of head gasket issues with these 3.0's but need someone to clarify.

BTW, I searched some threads but didn't find much on my particular setup.

Regular cab
Short bed
146,xxx miles
3.0 V6
5 speed
Vinyl seats, vinyl floor, manual locks and windows (my favorite)
