This is the running thread for the 2006 Bass Pro Shops/Aggressive Krawlers Off Road Show which will be held at Bass Pro Shops/Colonial Mall parking lot in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on June 24, 2006. We have three off road clubs at this time coming up to help us with the event:

Sounds good to me too.

Vendors and Clubs:

We will have security in the parking lot starting Wednesday night in case any of the vendors need a place to park and secure trailers, rigs, etc.

I would like to have all vendors and clubs be there by Friday early evening to set up although the requirement is that you be set up by 8am on Saturday morning.

Raffle items need to be turned in as soon as you guys get there please, so we can organize the raffle.

We will be going to dinner at the restaurant at Bass Pro. Its called Islamorada Fish Company. They blocking off the patio which should hold 50 of us (last year we had about 25 people the night before). Competitors, vendors, clubs are all welcome to come eat with us. not sure what time we'll make it over there, but it'll probably be in the neighborhood of about 7 or 8 pm.

Talked to Tom from Carolina Drive Line last night (Carolina Crawlin) and they had an awesome WEROC event in Spartenburg last weekend. Tom is sending one of the pro buggies down this week to be put on display at Bass Pro for our show. I'll get the competitors name asap.

Carolina Crawlin is hosting a non pro event there next month so if you guys wanna go up there and test our the rigs before you take them to a pro event, or have an amatuer rig that you wanna try on the course check out there website www.carolinacrawlin.com

Andy Zuber will be taking his personal buggy out for the first time in public on June 24th. The rig will be finished just in time for the Bass Pro event. Come by and check it out. I've seen spy pics since it was powdercoated and it looks SWEET!!

ummm...I think "finished" is a bit of an exaggeration...:D :D

I'd stick with "sitting on it's own weight" as good...;) I don't think he's gonna have the motor/tranny in it, and leaving the seats out to keep people from being tempted to climb in (that's assuming it's still going to be in Bass Pro...maybe the plan has changed since yesterday?)

What do you have to do and what time do you need to be there to be in the show and shine comp?

Registraction starts at 10am and will probably end about noon. All you have to do is show up, follow the signs for event traffic (the south (left) side of the mall) and register at the table in the entrance. The cost is $15 which will be donated back to a private off road park or back to the wheeling community as we did last year.

cool deal.. if i can get all my painting done on the WJ this week i will have it entered.. wont win anything but some might like looking at a lifted WJ...

Hey Dave, what ever happened to the offroad park in South Carolina. I am assuming that is the one you are referring to. Hope you guys have a great time. Last year it was awesome and I am sure it will be much larger this year. Sorry I can not attend. I am having knee surgery friday so I will be on drugs all week long..

Became a bigger liability that could be supported. We have considered a smaller park....thinking synthetic rock:D But nothing is set yet. We donated the money to a couple of existing off road parks from last years show.

Cool show this weekend.. Anybody know the guy that had the green WJ.. I had a question for him about his rig but couldnt find the owner... Thanks
