Went out to URE on Saturday with the family. Stayed at Uwharrie Cabin Rentals. First time staying there....very nice. Did Falls Dam from north to south and ran into a few guys. My wife snapped a few pics. The white Jeep was pretty slick. Saw it at the Outpost before heading out. Probably members on here but I'm not sure.

nice pics, along with the wildlife snap shot. How did that tire carrier work? Bump into anything?
 
Nah. Although Falls Dam is pretty easy for that kinda thing. I know it's hangin' out there pretty far but I need to use my cargo carrier with it (for deer) so it was my only option aside from dropping a lot of coin on a full blown bumper.

Glad you had a good time!

You did leave the rattler alone didn't you (I mean some people think the only good snake is a dead snake).
 
Yeah...he's fine. At home its a different story. I have an agreement with snakes ...if I don't see em I don't kill em. They seem to understand.
 
Are you sure you took the picture of that rattler at URE? I've been going there for years and the only snake I've ever seen there was a sickly looking little copperhead crossing FR-555 going up to the Daniel trail head. :lol:

Oh...no wait, I was at the north pole. I get the two locations all mixed up.
 
Can you give me info on the cabin retal like where, how much per nite, ect...? Nice lookn jeep infront of the cabin. Looks like you guys had a good time.
