My daughter is driving our JKU at college and she had the throttle control light come on yesterday but she drove it today and it wasn’t on. She is coming home this weekend, is there anything I should check?

If it's not on, don't worry about it. It could have been something simple as spinning a tire on wet leaves while on the gas.

Sounds like you shouldn't worry about it if it's on, either.... :burnout:

She said she was going down a steep grade on 421 from Boone to Wilkesboro. and looks like it was 33 so maybe was a little slick.

What I meant by that was sometimes the ETC light will false trigger due to external conditions. If you own or have owned a JK, you know what I mean and have probably seen this. Of course if it's on all the time there is a problem, either with the throttle by wire system or as I have seen, a wheel sensor which caused the ETC light to trip.
