Sounds like you shouldn't worry about it if it's on, either....If it's not on, don't worry about it. It could have been something simple as spinning a tire on wet leaves while on the gas.

What I meant by that was sometimes the ETC light will false trigger due to external conditions. If you own or have owned a JK, you know what I mean and have probably seen this. Of course if it's on all the time there is a problem, either with the throttle by wire system or as I have seen, a wheel sensor which caused the ETC light to trip.Sounds like you shouldn't worry about it if it's on, either....
