So I have noticed lately that when I get up to speed between 34mph-40mph I have this humming noise? sort of deep hum. Once I hit 40mph, I don't hear it. At highway speeds, no noise, just between 34-40. Also, when I slow down and go back down to the 34-40mph range, I will hear it again. If I take my foot off the gas and coast between 35-40 is when I hear it best, so its just not just under load. If I speed up pretty good and sort of speed through 35 - 40mph, I don't really hear it, unless the engine noise just over powers it. I have roof rails installed, but have been on there for 5 years + but I recently took off the wind fairing I had, so now its just the bare cross bars and I know those can make noise, I have the cross bars that have a keylock on them, so I need to find the key before I can take them off and test to see if these are the issue. I tried to move the bars around last night and just see if they have come loose or something and it seems today, the sound didn't seem as loud, but I don't know if its the placebo effect or not, but its still there. I am just not sure where to look. Unfortunately, I think its going to be a matter of letting someone who knows what they are doing, to drive or ride to hear it.

Definitely sounds like a wind buffetting issue, especially if you took off a wind fairing. Can you put it back on just to check? Then if you can confirm that's what is causing the sound and where it is coming from, it becomes a lot easier to remedy.

Its weird, because I have had the wind fairing off for 6 months or more and never noticed the noise. I took it off because the rubber piece on the bottom that sits on the roof had broken causing a rattle, but I fixed it last night and put it all back together and POOF, the noise is gone.

put it on jack stands and remove the front drive shaft. Run the rear and see if the noise occurs. no? then remove put the put the front back in and see if the noise is there. Sounds like a diff lost it's pattern. the Chrysler 8.25 is notorious about back lash issues. Does it thunk when going into gear?

Edit* never mind it's IRS
