Last night, Driving home from work, I get the lovely CEL come on. Stopped my O'Reilly's near my house, throwing code P0128. Had a local shop double check it today and they found out the t-stat was stuck open which explains why my Jeep hadn't been getting up to operating temp, but I was also low on coolant, and said they traced the leak coming from the side of the head gasket....
Shop is going to go ahead and fix the t stat, but as far as head gasket, I don't know what to do.
Literally just hit 60K miles, so I doubt any dealership is going to warranty it, but is it worth a shot?
