does anyone else have trouble shifting their twin sticked 205? i have a hard time moving my rear output shift rail in either hi or low, and to shift my front output into hi i have to put it in low, then back through nuetral to get to high, it wont go straight from nuetral to hi.

this is all without shifters on it btw.

im pretty sure the leverage from the shifters will cure the problem, but just incase i'd like to get it figured out now so i wont have to keep a rubber malet around at all times for shifting purposes like i am now.

older gear driven cases aren't know for their smooth shifting.

Shifters will help some, but you'll still find that it binds up and won't shift into neutral until you roll it around some.

Take them darn rails out and throw em in the sewer..................
No need to make shifting any harder right????Nah mines the same way as yours.I did the mod on a ford 205 for the shift rails and it shifts alot better than mine and I think I took a little more off of his...........

i have a 205 how do you twin stick it, what do you do to the rails exactly?
