I just swaped out the BBD carb for the 2150 motorcraft on my 258 in my CJ. evrything went well untill I started to hook my vacuum lines. There was only one port and it was standard. There was no port for my distributor (port with vacumm only at higher RPM'S). I checked that one and it was standard. So I thought I would go ahead and hook that one up to my distributor. At start up everything ran great till I hooked up the distributor. Then the RPM's jumped. Idle was great. It has never ran like that before. Just I took it on the highway and found that I had lost a lot of top end speed(top speed was 55 mph). Take off was a little slow to. I would love to hear some ideas if anyone has any??
