ok i been chasing a no start problem with my 22r on propane. i currently have installed a msd 6a and msd wires. when i test my msd and coil the coil is sparking but the pickup in the distributor seem to be not switching like it should. i looked up the ohm spec on alldata and its says it should be between 130-180ohms and my reman distributor is at 250ohms. can someone test theirs to see what they read. do you think this maybe the reason its not starting ?

don't really know anything about the propane setup. i assume it's cranking just not firing. are you getting any flow from the regulator. retart the timing a bit maybe. as far as the dizzy goes.
From the Toyota FSM....
CHECK AIR GAP
(a) Using a feeler gauge, measure the gap between the
signal rotor and the pickup coil projection.
Air gap: 0.2 - 0.4 mm (0.008 - 0.016 in.)
(b) Adjust the gap if necessary.
• Loosen the two screws and move the signal
generator until the gap is correct. Tighten the
screws and recheck the gap.
CHECK SIGNAL GENERATOR
Using an ohmmeter, check the resistance of the signal
generator.
Generator resistance: 140 - 180 Ohms
If the resistance is not correct, replace the signal generator
