I just recently purchased an 87 4runner with a bad 22re. Im deciding between doing a rebuild or buying a long block. I live in charlotte, but the car is located at a friends near raleigh.
Is their any trustworthy shops to do the machine work if i decide to rebuild or who sell a long block?
I was looking into poteats in kanapolis but keep hearing conflicting reviews.
Id appreciate any tips on who to go to or who to avoid, i wouldnt even mind if someone who just does the work at their house but has a good reputation on these forums. Thanks in advance for any help.
