possibly buying an 89 toyota, 22re 5 spd,4wd...blown engine...what years would be the easiest direct swap for a new motor
also if anybody would want to swap out the motor for me, name a price and let me know...or if you have one for sale:smokin:

Maybe in Wilmington, but not here.
We charge by the cylinder for boring, and honing. Not by what it is. Biggest difference is what ring, as to what finish hone we do. Head work is reasonable. Basically depends on how may valves. T surface a I-6 is the same as for a V-6, 4 or what ever. Same per head, unless angle milling or so on.
Give us a shout if you consider building what you have.

X2 on Chip, that motor is no more expensive to machine that a SBC. I had my block done for 75 bucks. The head, 50 bucks. Plus 35 to lightly cut it with a broach and fine stones. Where you get into money on any block os sleeving them and redecking if needed.Plus they are about as hard to build as a briggs and stratton.:flipoff2:
