I have an 88 toyota 4runner with a 22re. Had a problem a couple of weeks ago. The keyway on the crankshaft which holds the pulley on broke. I replaced the keyway and everything is running fine....but.... now there is a knocking when the engine is running?? Sounds like something got thrown out of wack.
The motor has been rebuilt and has about 6000 miles on it.
Not sure what to do. Is there any good toyota mechanics in the cabarrus county region?
