I’ve never torn into a wiring harness before.
I want to run the motor, gauge cluster and lights only. All other stuff I don’t want or need.
I was trying to get the ‘85 4runner going and was not getting power to the fuel pump so I just ran a wire from the ignition directly to the pump. I re-used the factory ground and it fired right up.

Would anyone want to come over and drink beer/make some side $ and help me strip out everything I don’t need?

I’m nervous. lol

@DannyH also may be able to help or point you in a direction that would help

@NCJeeplover (Gavin who I'm guessing you met last weekend, if y'all didn't know each other beforehand) also seems to know everything yota

I’m supposed to go see @specialtoy tomorrow to get some doors for this thing. I’ll pick his brain.

Back in college I tried to thin out a harness. On pirate someone was able to get it down to “4 wires” they said. With the pin diagrams and having a running vehicle, I got it down to 30ish wires and stopped. It still ran great but wish I had kept going further. I have the harness somewhere.

Dang. That would be solid.
